An independent IT market watcher has been so impressed with enterprise comms player Aastra it’s awarded it ‘champion’ status.
Thus Info-Tech Research Group, via its most up-to-date vendor landscape probe into the IP telephony and unified communications (UC) global markets, has identified the Canadian firm as so well placed in the space as to be granted the high mark – well ahead of the other 11 suppliers in contention.
Its staff sifted the leading suppliers’ solutions in this competitive market in terms of features, usability, affordability and architecture and the companies behind them for their "viability, strategy, reach, channel approach and strength.”
Specifically, analysts cite Aastra’s strong dedication to customer issues, backed with its complete portfolio of relevant solutions, noting its “highly flexible deployment options, well-rounded UC suite and strong focus on collaboration.”
So to become a ‘champion’ in Info-Tech’s books, you have to get high scores for the majority of the above and be seen overall as a trend setter.
The analyst firm, which specialises in the delivery of tactical and practical IT research and insight, says: “Aastra’s comprehensive mobile capabilities enable devices to function in parity with desktop clients,” concludes the assessment.
